Are you looking for a playful, loving, gentle sweetheart to share your life with? Do you like to snuggle with your pups, spoil them with kisses, treats and fun? Benson is an adorable, and we mean precious, 8 month old, male, Carolina dog who was found as a stray and brought to a local, overcrowded, New Jersey shelter. Rescue Ridge stepped up to save him. He was petrified there...all the noises, dogs, and unfamiliar surroundings. Now, Benson waits in central New Jersey in a kennel at Rescue Ridge and loves to be with you! He is a gentle boy, and has been so sweet and loving to young children as well. We call Benson the Michael Phelps of Rescue Ridge because he loves to swim and he also lounges in a kiddie pool of water at the rescue! Benson loves to chase the ball, takes treats very gently, walks nicely on a leash for a puppy who clearly did not have much training. Benson goes potty outside and is a true joy to be with!
