Sweet Jammie, the two year old, throw away mama and her seven puppies had a very tough beginning. Their owner brought them all to a local Tri State area shelter and just walked away. Jammie was completely neglected, emaciated showing every single bone in her body. Yet, this sweet mama cared for her seven puppies and they all survived. With an uncertain fate, they were all transferred to another local shelter and Rescue Ridge stepped up to save them all. All of Jammie's pups were recently adopted and now we are hoping that it is her turn very soon. She is a sweetie pie, learning about love and life and devouring the excellent food and loving she is now receiving. She takes toys,food, and treats gently, walks on a leash, and will make a wonderful and very sweet companion in an adult home or one with children age 8 and older. . She is strong and may knock the little ones down. Jammie is friendly with most dogs.
