Some nice young girls adopted me from a local shelter but could not keep me so one of the girl’s parents wanted to help me and did not want me to have to go back to the shelter. I love to sit in the sun and would love a fenced in yard to run and play in. I love car rides, walks, knows some commands, and am generally a good girl. I am fearful of the basement and wish that I could explain to my owner why. Sometimes I am fearful and need reassurance and patience. Will you help me to trust humans more? The trainer felt that I was mistreated when I was younger and so I need time to trust, positive reinforcement, love and attention. You can pet me and I will give you kisses but sometimes I get scared and need you to remind me that humans can be good to me. I have been fine in public and have gone to Petsmart and allow people to pet me just fine. I am fully housebroken and have good house manners. I am sometimes possessive of my bones but am fine at the food bowl. Probably I am best with adults or with older children. I cannot tell you if I am good with other dogs because my family does not have another dog. Please help me to find my forever home. My temporary family is not home enough to provide me with what I need. I just need someone to love me and I promise to love you back.
