Sweet, beautiful, ~10 years old, Staffordshire Terrier Darla is waiting for her forever home in central N. J. at Rescue Ridge. She is a most delightful, easy going gal and just wants a lap to curl up on or a nice bed to have sweet dreams on. Darla was saved by Rescue Ridge from a local, N. J. shelter and she has adjusted well to her foster home. Her foster mommy calls her Darla but you can call her anything that you would like. Just be sure to call her "home forever.") Darla was a stray and clearly was tossed out when she could not have any more puppies. She is gentle- dog and cat- friendly and actually likes to curl up with the foster family’s cat! Darla is hearing impaired but sees well and just wants someone to love and be loved. She will "sit" for treats and is very food motivated. She loves to go for walks and for a senior gal has a nice little pep in her step. She is best in a home with gentle older children due to her age and her hearing impairment. Darla is very easy to walk on a leash and is truly a beautiful girl inside and out. Darla is a medium sized sweetheart with a heart of gold. Oh, Darla also likes to play a little tug on a toy for a moment for two LOL. She is great in the car and enjoys going out for a spin on the town. Please apply to adopt Darla at RescueRidge.com and then text 732 546 8805 to meet her.
