Meet Rosie!  This adorable, 7 yr. old, 22 lbs., female, spayed, vaccinated, Jack Russell/ Hound mix sweetheart had a very hard life.  She was saved by a good Samaritan and is looking for a new, forever home. This poor girl was clearly abused in earlier years and now we want everything to be Rosey for our Rosie girl. Rosie lost several of her teeth, apparently trying to chew her way out of a crate.  Her current family does not crate her nor does she need to be crated. Now, Rosie just wants someone to love her. Rosie is currently living in a home with a very young child and tolerates her.  She also lives with a five-year-old Labrador who is passive and they get along fine.  Rosie has a strong personality, one of her special qualities, and would probably do best with a dog who is more on the passive/ submissive side.  She is good on a leash, doesn't really pull much, loves to go for car rides, and takes toys, treats, and food gently.  She is housebroken but has an occasional fear reaction to some men upon greeting them but is otherwise housebroken.  She is a courtesy post on Rescue Ridge.  Please email  byronmo@hotmail.com  for more information on Rosie.  She is waiting...
