LET'S HELP HIM OUT. Meet Kona! He  is a stunning, gentle, 2.5 yr. old, Mountain Cur/ Plott Hound mix guy who keeps getting overlooked. At first glance, you cannot help but notice how gorgeous this boy is! Give him a treat and he will quickly become your best friend. This may surprise you because, at first, he appears to be shy but, if you have a cookie in your hand, that will change rather quickly! This happened to me as well. I was a little hesitant to approach him at first but as soon as I reached out my hand with a cookie in it, Kona sat and took the treat ever so gently. That was it! We were buds! Kona is GREAT with other dogs, big and small and is even fine with cats. He does not mind them and, given the right introduction, would probably be fine in a home with a cat. He is great with dogs, so playful and polite. He does not look for trouble and avoids the action if it occurs. Smart boy! Kona knows his commands and moves with grace. He has the softest fur, which glistens in the sun, just like his gorgeous brown eyes. You can fall in love with this boy for sure! I know that I did. Oh, before I forget. Kona is housebroken, crate trained, walks well on a leash, takes toys, treats, and food gently, is great in the car, loves to play rope or ball including with another dog, and will make a great companion in a quiet adult home. A fenced in yard would be a perfect addition. Kona will be a great dog to come home to and does not demand your constant attention but surely loves it so please give it to him. He deserves it.
