Oreo is a 6.5-year-old American Bulldog mix that will melt your heart. This big mush was surrendered to a local, N. J. kill shelter with his son. He is a big boy – close to 95 lbs. so he will require a home that is accustomed to a larger dog and one with no small kids. He is a powerful, confident, faithful and protective dog. He is a very sweet, goofy and loving boy. He does get along with other dogs but he likes to control everything about his surroundings, therefore, he would be best as the only dog in a home. Oreo loves to be outdoors but can easily settle on the couch and snuggle too. He was recently fostered for a month and was a complete pleasure (and couch potato). He learned many basic commands and loves to show off what he knows. Oreo's son, Jax, went to a loving foster home and unfortunately, poor Oreo is still at a boarding facility until a foster or a forever home is found. He is not happy where he is and needs out ASAP!
