Gemma is a newbie at Rescue Ridge. She is a sweet, 6 yrs old, mellow, medium size gal who recently lost the only home she ever had. She was scared and upset at first, not trusting her new world but she has come around and enjoys the company of the volunteers. If you are looking for a lovely senior style gal who just wants a ball to play with, a patch of grass to lay in, a nice bed by your side, then you just found a most loving and wonderful companion! Gemma is best in a home with older kids, simply because she prefers things on the more mellow side. She is housebroken, crate trained, good on a leash, takes toys, treats, and food gently, too. She lived with another dog and is dog-friendly. We don't know how she is with cats. Gemma is good in the car and enjoys the simple things in life...do you?
