LET'S WELCOME SAGE TO RESCUE RIDGE! Sage is a beautiful, 5 yrs. old, American Bulldog mix. She lived in a barn in a cardboard box. She ate only horse pellets and alfalfa. This super sweet, super mellow and gentle, people and cat-friendly gal is safe with us now at Rescue Ridge. No more living in a cold barn in a box. No more eating horse food. No more suffering. Sage loves people and takes about a half a second to want to love you. Will YOU love her? She is easy on a leash, e njoyed playing ball with the volunteers, and just snuggling in a blanket in the playroom. She couldn't wait to get out of the cold! Oh, and if you like taking your dog around town in the car, all you have to say to Sage is, "Do you want to go in the car?" and her whole face lights up with happiness! We think she is probably also good with dogs but we will keep you posted on that. Sage lived in the barn with horses and cats and was fine with them. We are treating her skin condition, probably a reaction to her environment and food. Nonetheless, this gal has the spirit of an angel and a heart of gold.
