My name is Opie and this is my story.  I was living with a family who moved and left me behind. I was scared to be left alone, but then something good happened. A volunteer from Rescue Ridge came to get me and brought me to the rescue. When I first arrived at Resue Ridge I was a little shy. As I got to know the volunteers, my special personality came out.  I'm very friendly and I enjoy hanging out with people I love. I love to be pet and cuddle in your lap.  In return, I will purr and give you head bonks. I'm a handsome three-year-old boy with a beautiful black, shiny coat. I get along well with other cats and I enjoy playtimes.  I am looking for a family who will give me lots of love. In return, I will be your best friend and loyal companion.
