Bart is a very friendly, just over a year old Pit Bull. He was starving and was saved just in time from an overcrowded shelter in Pennsylvania. Amber and Laney were also saved from the same shelter and were also left to starve . In order to survive, Bart had to eat plastic and needed surgery. Rescue Ridge did not hesitate to save him. He and Amber are in an amazing foster home and became friends in their foster home. The foster family has young children of varying ages and Bart is amazing and gentle with them. Bart loves people of all ages and will make a fantastic family dog. He loves to run in a fenced in yard and loves to play with a ball. He has no toy, treat, or food issues, walks nicely on a leash, loves car rides, has learned a few commands, and is a very gentle, playful, affectionate dog. Bart loves to play but settles down very nicely for some mellow snuggle time. He has filled out beautifully and now has a good body weight. Bart is vaccinated, neutered, and is ready for a loving family. Please apply to adopt Bart at Rescueridge.com and if your application is a possible match a volunteer will get back to you shortly.
