Update on our handsome boy Wesley! Wesley, a 1-2-year-old, 75lb Yellow Lab is in a temporary Foster home. We have learned that he is housebroken, very affectionate, and is quickly learning how to behave in a home. He’s made tremendous progress in a very short time. Wesley has also been to a couple of adoption events and has been the perfect gentleman, happily greeting adults, kids, and other dogs. Oh, and he loves the car! Wesley has all the makings to be a wonderful companion- he’s sweet, friendly, playful, and highly trainable, but he needs someone who will continue to work with him to remind him how to be a good boy. Wesley walks nicely on a leash and knows some basic commands, but with love, exercise, and some additional training he will blossom into the amazing dog he was meant to be. If you are willing to put in a little work, the reward will be priceless. Wesley would do best in a home without small children and a yard where he could play his favorite game- fetch (of course)! If you think you could provide Wesley with the home he needs and deserves- please apply at rescueridge.com. If your application is a possible match, a volunteer will contact you. No inquiries without an adoption application, please.
