Look at Roscoe then and now! Roscoe was starving almost to death by a blockage and a major intestinal issue that required immediate surgery. Unfortunately his owners who purchased Roscoe from a breeder didn’t want to spend the money to save his life. They told hospital staff to euthanize him. Knowing Roscoe could be saved, the hospital begged for a rescue to help and Rescue Ridge stepped up. Within days Roscoe was discharged in guarded condition with special food and feeding program Weight came on slowly and he went from 4 1/2 pounds to 16. Now he eats (and eats) normally and with gusto. Roscoe is going on 4 months old, neutered, chipped and up to date on puppy shots. We don’t know for sure what he is, but he could be a mini pit with some Boston Terrier or Frenchie in him. We just don’t know. But if you fall for this little guy and all his charms, you can DNA test him and let us know! He is living with all sizes of dogs and cats in his foster home and hasn’t had a bad day with any of them. If you’d like Roscoe to become your new cuddle partner, fill out an application at RescueRidge.com and his foster will contact you after Roscoe reads your application. No inquiries without an application please.
