Friends, I need YOUR help! Our Calla girl is in need of a new, loving home (one without children and other animals

). We’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old. She’s grown up with her older dog sister Lily, and our 2.5 yo son.
Calla is a love bug who wants to lay on your lap and lick your face at all times. She truly is a sweet girl who sleeps most of the day, but also lives in fear with anxiety of separation and loud noises. Until recently, most days she’s laying on her sister or licking her snout.
Calla has always been food aggressive and scared. She has met with behavioralists, has been working with multiple trainers, and we continue to be unable to remediate the food aggression & fear. Recently, her and our other dog got in an aggressive fight over food (a bone we did not know existed in the yard). It was bad. Our 2 1/2 year old was present and tried to interject. I cannot have this happen again!
Calla needs love and attention and likes to play with toys and run in the yard. She deserves a good quality of life. Keeping her separated from us, crated, and muzzled is not fair.

It has been suggested that we consider behavioral euthanasia since putting her in a shelter, foster, or rescue will only worsen her quality of life and set her deeper into fear. The idea of taking her life makes me sick and I feel it’s unacceptable, however, the idea of her harming my child because of her fear or food would kill me!
We’re looking for a unicorn person or couple that will take Calla into their loving arms.

She deserves a good life and I KNOW THERE IS A LOVING PIT-OBSESSED HUMAN who could be her savior.
We will keep her until December, at which time, if she is not adopted/rehomed to the right human(s) will consider the next step.
Please reach out ASAP with questions, inquiries, or if you know a stellar candidate looking to be a dog mom or dad to a pitty girl!
She is spayed, updated on vax, and microchipped.
