We are looking for a special person for this special boy. Hunter is a 6 yr old, neutered male German Shepherd. He came to Rescue Ridge after his family gave him up. Hunter has been professionally trained and has excellent behavior and obedience. He is searching for someone who understands and has experience with German Shepherds. Hunter gets very attached to his humans and can be protective in the home. He would love an owner who could spend a lot of time with him and give him the structure he craves. Hunter has been a complete gentleman since he came to us at the rescue. He lived in a home with children and another dog, and although he is nonreactive to dogs, we prefer he go to a home without other pets. He has been through a lot of change in his life and we are seeking the most peaceful environment we can find for him.
