Jade is a 6 1/2 yr old Pointer Mix who was surrendered to a shelter due to moving. She lived with this family her entire life and was devastated when they brought her in, just devastated. It was and is still heart wrenching. She is an absolute dreamboat. She sits in her kennel so quiet, doesn't bark, doesn't make any fuss at all. She is super nice with other dogs, very calm and mellow. Dogs do not seem to mind her at all, since she is not in their face or causing any trouble with them. Jade only has one trait that might be considered an issue: she gets scared when men make fast movements near her and can be nippy towards them, according to her previous owner. We have not seen her be nippy at all with anyone, men or women. A lot of our volunteers are men and there has been no problem. She is the sweetest dog in the shelter BY A LANDSLIDE. She passed all parts of her temperament test with flying colors. She is the sweetest dog you can imagine. Calm, mellow, gentle, loving. She is totally housebroken. She does not bark in the shelter.
