Manahawkin, NJ 08050, 609-709-1037 cell or lbflynn1@aol.com. We have a young, 9ish to 11ish MONTH old Chocolate Lab named Willy Wonka who needs rescue. He is ADORABLE, SWEET and friendly! He likes other dogs and stays in the outside run unattended with Bo, Shepherd for hours at a time with no problem. He goes on pack walks with every dog in our shelter and has no problems. He walks nice on leash and is obedient. He is a small lab, prob still has growing to do. SUPER friendly and cute as a button! He failed his test for food. They were petting him with the plastic hand when he was eating and he would freeze and look at it. Then they continued to pet him with the plastic hand and he was getting aggravated and growling at it. Then they put it in his food bowl and he growled and bit the plastic hand. The county will not allow him to go up for adoption and he will face euthanasia if we cannot find him a rescue. Since he is protective of food, he would be best not to go into a home with kids.
