He is housebroken and good with other dogs as well as cats. Jasper is a great little dog with the good looks of a classic Beagle. Jasper does have some food guarding issues that will require a firm but gentle hand. Poor Jasper was rescued from a very overcrowded home where he most likely had to fight for what was his. We feel Jasper would do best with a family with out young children and with Beagle experience. He would also benefit from having a fenced in yard and a good amount of exercise. He needs someone that will stand by him and work through his issues with him. He is a great little dog that just needs some guidance, consistency and a stable and loving home.
