Max is a stunning adult, male German Shepherd. He is about 7-8 years old. He was surrender to the shelter by his family because he had diarrhea and they didn't want him any more. They brought him to the shelter to have him euthanized. Max has had a miserable life. He spent his life in the basement and was let outside in the yard to do his business. Despite a lonely and miserable life, Max is a happy and friendly boy. He is a little thin and he is being treated for fleas. He is now up to date on routine shots and he will be neutered. Max probably never saw a vet in his life and can be fearful when examined. We think he may be OK with other dogs and we are not sure about cats.
