Hi Everyone, My name is Fred and I am a 6 year old, neutered, updated on my shots, 80 pound loving and fantastic black Labrador..So, I'm told..hehe! You see my life was very sad and lonely for many years as I was chained outside and left in a state of neglect. I was ignored and never taken care of. I never understood why I was treated this way as I loved my owners so very much but I came to realize they didn't love me. One bright day in my life, a nice lady stepped in and saved me from the cruel life I was living. She gave me a bath and made me smell and look sparking clean. For the first time I finally felt loved. I went to obedience school which was really cool as I am the kind of guy who is very eager to please. I love to be brushed and I walk really well on a leash. One thing with me though is that I'm scared of other dogs as I was never really allowed to play with other them. They frighten me so I don't like them. I would do best in a home without other dogs. Please, oh please don't hold that against me because I really am a good boy and want to be loved so very much! I'm currently in a kennel now because all my rescue person's foster homes are full and I'm getting very depressed. I have also gotten a little nippy at the kennel twice now because I am frustrated. I just really need an experienced dog/lab person (or couple) to love and to love me. I'm scared and lonely and I cannot live this way too much longer. I really am an awesome boy and just want to be loved. If you were to give me a chance I will pay you back with more loyalty than you can imagine.. Do you have a place in your heart and home for me?
