Jessi is a 45lb pit-bull greyhound mix who will be 6 this July, we rescued her when she was 3 months old. She is the kind of dog that will greet you at the door everyday, tail wagging with excitement. She will most likely have a stuffed animal in her mouth she carries around as a security object. She will constantly want to give kisses to anyone who is willing to accept them. Jessi plays very well with other dogs and loves just about anyone after getting to know them, though that can take some time as she is very shy with newcomers. Sit, down, stay and come are three commands Jessi knows very well. She also does pretty well on the leash when taking a known route, but will get nervous in crowds where she has a hard time staying focused. One thing you will not hear Jessi do a lot is bark. Whether someone is banging at the door, or another dog is barking at her while on a walk; she rarely feels the need to express herself vocally. She has been using a doggie door for the past year at our house with an invisible fence while we are work. On '10-11-26 Jessi was adopted.
