Please take two minutes of your time to read my story. Two minutes of your life, could mean a lifetime of difference in mine. My name is Shady. I am a very sweet 8 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and even though I’m such a loving, obedient boy, my days are BEYOND numbered. As each day passes, I count my blessings that I’m still alive. Due to unfortunate circumstances, my daddy picked up and left me behind. He dropped me off at my grandpa’s house never to return again. My grandpa loves me dearly, but his landlord won’t allow him to have any pets and despite his every effort to keep me “hidden”, I have overstayed my welcome…without a miracle, I have no hope. So I’m sitting here wondering, where is my angel? Grandpa does not want to put me to sleep and he has been desperately trying to save my life. He knows if he drops me off at a shelter, I wouldn’t stand a chance to make it out alive. I have wonderful house manners and I know all my basic commands. No one knows how I really am with other doggies, but I have all the love in the world to give human companions. I have always lived in a home environment and am always on my best behavior. I’m housebroken and I have great leash manners. I have so much to offer… undying love and companionship. Without you, I have no chance.
