Hi, my name is Smokey and no, you aren’t just seeing spots – I am a beautiful purebred Dalmatian. At approximately 50 pounds, I am a medium-sized boy with tons of personality. I am super-friendly and am a total lover boy! Just recently, I found myself in search of a new furever family to love and spend my days with. Unfortunately, due to a divorce, my owners could no longer keep me. They had no where for me to go and were absolutely devastated to leave me behind. Sadly, sometimes life throws you curveballs and we were all forced to go our separate ways. I don’t understand it much, but I still love them just the same. Maybe that’s because I am just a happy, go-lucky boy and nothing can keep me down. I lived with my family since I was just 1 year young and was the king of my castle. They gave me a great life and I’m hoping to find a family just as loving as they were where I can live out the rest of my years. I must say, I do miss lounging around in the sun, romping around with the children in the backyard and even playing with the kitty cats. I have excellent house manners and am a very good boy. I am housebroken, crate trained and am always on my best behavior. I am such a lovable pooch that all the volunteers took to my sweet-natured disposition right away. I am such a mush and I am sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. I have a moderate energy level and by just looking at me, you would never know I am 11 years young.
