Lilly is a special-needs dog: Even if you cannot save my life, you may know someone who can. Please take two minutes of your time to read my story. Two minutes of your life, could mean a lifetime of difference in mine. Sometimes, life can be unfair. Even when things are going good, it can all change in the blink of an eye. This is my story…this is my life. My name is Lilly and I’m as precious as my name suggests. I am a 5 year old female American Staffordshire Terrier and am a total doll! It all started at a place I care not to remember. I was just a pup and already, I was sitting in a kennel, at a shelter, waiting for someone to adopt me. Then, one day, a kind selfless woman told the shelter staff she wanted to foster me until they could find me my furever home. I’m convinced, an angel must have been watching over me that day. So, off we went and life could not have been any better. From a cold, concrete floor to warm beds and toys galore, I couldn’t believe how lucky I was. This is what it felt like to live in a home with someone to love me – It was better than I could have ever imagined. My foster mom and I grew such a beautiful bond, she decided she couldn’t let me go and I had already found my furever home with her. She adopted me. She taught me phenomenal house manners, showed me all the love in the world and raised me to be a wonderful, devoted companion. I am such a well-mannered little girl. I have an amazing temperament, am housebroken and I absolutely adore people. I am very obedient and am always on my best behavior. Just as things couldn’t possibly get any better, suddenly, everything changed. Sadly, my mommy is now sick and she has to find me a new home. She cannot care for me and is absolutely heartbroken. She does not want me to go to a shelter as she knows that I’ll never make it out alive. Her wish is to find me a home where I will continue to be loved and taken care of. We love each other so much and she can’t bear to drop me off at the shelter, knowing my short life would be coming to an end. It’s not my time to cross that rainbow bridge. That would absolutely break her heart and we desperately need your help immediately. I have only days left to find a furever or foster home before she is left with no choice. I would make an excellent addition to your family. Please don’t let me die. **********Please, if you or anyone you know is looking to ADOPT OR FOSTER amazing little Lilly. This dog is in for the fight of her life as she doesn’t have many days left. If you are interested in fostering, all supplies (including food, toys, bed, etc.) WILL BE COVERED AT OUR EXPENSE. All we ask for is a loving home where Lilly can relax and settle in while we search for her new family. We are all trying our best to make sure Lilly doesn’t end up in a shelter. This is such a heartbreaking story and Lilly and her mommy are hoping for the best.
