Lacey and Mia should go home together.
Mia: I raised her from an orphaned pup. Her mother died giving birth and she was bottle raised along with her 10 brothers and sisters. The breeder where I purchased Sage (Mia’s mother) asked that I breed her to one of her studs so she could have a pup out of her. Well, I got more then I bargained for – although it was quite an experience, luckily we didn’t lose any of the pups. Mia was the rut of the litter and always a little shy. She still is a little shy. She rarely barks and tends to be a follower. She is very sweet, very hairy and loves Lacey. I believe she would do fine with other animals. Mia’s birthday is June 8, 2004. About 2 years ago, it appeared that Mia had some type of bladder infection (or something like that) and she was having an issue holding her urine (only for about a week). The vet put her on incontinent medication for two weeks and that seemed to clear up the issue. She hasn’t had any problems since.
Lacey: I purchased Lacey to keep Sage (Mia’s mother) company after our Rottweiler passed. Lacey takes a bit to warm up to new people (even my vet has mentioned it.) Once she knows you, look out … she is a big love; the sweetest dog you’ll ever know. However at first she will definitely bark. Lacey is the ‘alpha’ dog around the house and Mia knows it. Lacey was a wonder with Mia and her sisters & brothers. She stepped into the ‘mother’ role and did everything but feed them. Being the alpha dog, I’m not sure how Lacey would do with other dogs. She is definitely more comfortable with women then men (on the initial meeting). Lacey’s birthday is May 31, 2003.
On '09-04-25, Lacey & Mia were adopted.
