Indiana (nickname Indie) is a chocolate lab. His mom was an American Chocolate lab and his dad was an English Chocolate Lab. He is 7 years old, neutered and up-to-date on his shots. Indie knows sit, lay down, stay and play dead, both with hand signals as well as verbal commands. He walks well on a leash and knows how to heel. He also knows several other commands. Indie is very smart and has a sweet personality. He loves to run, play, swim, fetch and be free. Like most labs, he is very food driven and excitable when he meets new people. He is good with other dogs and would probably do great in a home with another dog. He has never lived in a home with cats. Indie's family loves him very much and it is difficult for them to give him up. He has been with them since he was a puppy. Their lifestyle has changed and they cannot give Indie the attention and exercise he needs. They feel he deserves more than what they can provide him now. He is a wonderful dog that has brought so much into their lives and they know he will do the same for another family. Indie is currently in North Carolina and will be coming to New Jersey on February 16th. On '09-02-17, Indie was adopted. ____________________________________________________________
