Howie is between 6 and 7 months old and is a marbleized gray striped tabby. He is a talker, loves to meow, loves to purr and loves to sit up on your lap to get your attention. He was found outside his foster mommy's house at 4 am crying to the wind. When his foster mommy went outside to investigate the sound, she saw nothing. Just as she was about to go back into the house the cry sounded again. When she turned to look back at the driveway a flash of light came from behind her tires. Followed by a small head, another meow and the patter of little feet on concrete. One look at this boy and he was instantly taken inside. His foster mommy called local vets and the local animal shelter, even posted on a local news message board. She has not been able to find if Howie was a lost cat. Now Howie lives with his foster sister Grey and is much interested in getting his own "furever" home. He does not like being the little brother and would much rather be the center of attention always. On '09-03-31, Howie was adopted.
