She is a 1yr old spayed female Lab/Terrier mixed dog, cream in color and 35lb. Duncan is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and fecal negative. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Duncan is excellent with kids but may be too energetic for kids under 7. She can play roughly with other dogs and would do best with a more submissive medium to large sized male dog. She was originally a stray that had been hit by a car. Even with a badly fractured and bleeding left hind leg, Duncan was a total sweetheart and licking everyone with wagging tail. We couldn't give up on her! So Duncan spent 2 months in the veterinary hospital getting daily bandage changes and strict cage rest to give her leg a chance to heal. Through it all, she has been an angel. Duncan is all better now, but she will most likely always limp on the left hindleg. Duncan is very energetic and loves life. She is like a kid savoring every new experience. Duncan loves to splash in water puddles, play with sticks and toys, and to gallop through fallen leaves.
