THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Please contact the person below, and
not Rescue Ridge, if you'd like to meet Sheena.
Bio:
Sheena is a gorgeous, brindle, pit mix. Sheena's family was forced to give her up after six years because their apartment no longer wanted them to have a dog. The poor girl is so heartbroken that she lost her family and now finds herself in a shelter.
Sheena seems to be fine around children but the shelter where she is staying prefers she live in a home with no children under the age of six. We're not certain how she feels about other dogs but cats are a no since she seems way too interested in them.
Sheena is a very good girl. She will pull a little on a leash, but if you give her a voice correction, she will listen and slow down. She likes to ride "shot-gun" in the car, where after she looks out the window a couple of minutes she just curls up on the seat. She waits patiently for you to exit the car and permission to leave it herself. She knows sit and lay down and loves tummy rubs!
For more information about Sheena, or to arrange a meeting, contact Debbie at starfish363@hotmail.com or 732-672-5397 (leave a message and Debbie will return your call). Sheena recently had surgery and is recovering at the shelter. If you cannot adopt Sheena but can offer her a foster home while she recovers, please contact Debbie. You can also visit Sheena at the Old Bridge Animal Shelter.
Do you have room in your heart and home for this sweetheart? She loves to be loved!
On '08-12-19, Sheena was adopted.
