My name is Roxy. I’m a four year old Shepherd-Boxer Mix. My owner had a new baby and said I appeared to be nervous when the baby started to crawl and walk. I don’t know much about babies but I do know I miss having a family of my own.
I love playing catch and running after balls. I love everyone, especially anyone who will play with me. My family said I am a loving dog. I wish they would have given me a chance to adjust to the baby crawling and walking. I’m a smart girl and I’m sure I would have gotten used to this new activity in my home. Instead, they gave me up to a shelter where I sat in a crate for 6 long months waiting for someone to take me home. But nobody ever came for me.
Luckily for me, I am now with Rescue Ridge where I am getting lots of love, attention and exercise. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and enjoy taking long walks with my new friends. I’m a very well-behaved dog. I’m playful, loyal, loving, housetrained, up-to-date on my shots and I’m spayed. What more could anyone looking for a doggie ask for?
