Bentley is a senior English Setter who has been homeless and bounced around for quite sometime. We need to find him a patient, loving home for Bentley to sink his paws in and become a true part of the family. Originally found as a stray in Georgia, he was taken in by a goodhearted person who fed him and nursed him back to health until she could find him a home. We then transported him up here as his chances of being adopted down there were slim because his breed is so common, he was always passed by because he is a "dime a dozen". Just when we thought Bentley had a home, his needs and his adoptive family's needs were very different. He needs affection and attention and is slowly becoming an inside dog whereas his past history was to be exclusively an "outside dog". Needless to say we asked to take Bentley back until we can once again try to place him with a home where everyone's needs are met. Bentley is neutered, fully vaccinated and even microchipped. He's quiet, affectionate and sweet. He is a senior dog, perhaps about 7 or 8 years old, but still loves to play, LOVES being outside, watching birds and sitting in the sunshine.
