Diamond was found as a stray in Keansburg. She is about 8-10 months old and since we have had her Diamond has made amazing progress! Before she had no basic training or socialization. Now she sits, lays down, comes when called and is learning to wait for her food and not to jump up. She is very energetic and loves to be cuddled and exercised. Still cautious with strangers but once she gets a sniff she is a real sweetie. We are working very hard with her socialization taking her to the Boardwalk, and store parking lots where there are all kinds of people. She shows no sign of food aggression we have put our hands in her food bowl while she was eating I would not recommend her being around small children but 10+ she is fine. She would do best in a home as the only dog and no cats or small animals. She is a dominant female so anyone who wishes to adopt her should know something about her breed and consider obedience training so they don't wind up being her pet! Besides that she works very hard to please and responds very well to love and structure. Oh do I need to mention she is a real ham! On '08-05-31, Diamond was adopted.
