Things are finally looking up for CHICKORY. This little dude was found abandoned on the streets of NY with horribly matted hair that caused his so much pain. He has been welcomed into the Rescue Ridge family and into one of our fabulous foster homes. He is about 10 years old, most likely a Maltese, and after he got a much needed hairc ut, the real Chickory showed himself. He is such a happy boy, thrilled to be pain free. He wiggles in delight and begs for belly rubs. He is playful in nature, loves to meet new people, lounge on the sofa and tolerates other small dogs.
He does have a misaligned jaw that doesn't seem to cause him any troubles and a heart murmur. He would love to find a family that will care for and love him as he deserves.
