Ginger is a stunning, sweet, spayed, loyal, loving, housebroken, 6 year old, German Shepherd who lost her home when her family lost theirs. She was raised in the home since she was a puppy and lived with young children. Then, unfortunately, the family lost their home and had to give her away. Now, Ginger finds herself in central New Jersey at Rescue Ridge, searching for a loving home with experienced pet owners who understand her breed. She is a loyal, protective girl who needs a person or family who will be loving toward her but not let her push them around. Ginger loves to play fetch, runs ever so gracefully, and would do best in a home with a fenced in yard and a person or family who enjoys interacting with such a beautiful, intelligent girl. Ginger loves to go for walks and would do best walking on a harness. She is good in the car, too. Ginger likes to pick her doggie friends so if you have one, let's see if it's a good match.
