Could be a horse…could be a giraffe…it’s Rocky!!!...an anything but ordinary extra large dog. If you like SUPER TALL dogs with gigantic hearts, you must meet this sweet and silly boy. Though Rocky came to us a Mastiff, he actually looks more like a Great Dane with his slender build and mile-long, gangly legs. Due to a move, poor, sweet Rocky is in search of a foster or permanent home. At a young 5-years-old, affectionate Rocky LOVES other dogs and children, and even lived with a cat when he was a puppy. He knows some commands, and is truly a gentle giant. Rocky is extremely affectionate, and loves nothing more than good ear and tummy rub. He is also very playful, and is a sight to behold prancing around like a horse with toys in his mouth. Rocky can be a little nervous around strangers until his people show him it’s OK. Then he’ll sidle up in a hot minute for petting and play. Rocky was kept separated from the family in a laundry room for long periods of time, so we believe once he’s allowed to really feel part of his new family, this nervousness will quickly disappear.
