Welcome Aspen to Rescue Ridge in central N. J. This beautiful, ~4.5 yr. old, Staffordshire Terrier, throw away mama was saved minutes away from being euthanized at a local, overcrowded shelter. Rescue Ridge stepped up to save her and she is in a loving, foster home with adults, young children, dogs and cats and gets along well with everyone! Aspen is best in a home with slightly older children, simply because she is strong. She is fully housebroken, walks strong but well on a leash, takes toys, treats and food gently, even though she loves to shred her toys... we forgive her lol. Aspen still dripped breast milk when she was tossed out into the cold streets, and clearly gave birth recently...those poor puppies, who knows their fate. She was very ill with an upper respiratory infection and Rescue Ridge took care of all of her medical needs. Aspen is a most loving, beautiful, brindle, affectionate girl who will make a fantastic family member. Aspen loves to swim and play fetch, too! Aspen is also a total kissing machine so line up for some sweet kisses!
