His family surrendered Philly to Rescue Ridge in central New Jersey because they just could not take adequate care of him and wanted him to go to a loving, forever home. Philly is very gentle, affectionate, walks nicely on a leash, loves to play with balls and toys, and will make a fabulous family dog. Philly knows “Sit” and “Come” and takes toys and treats gently. He is very smart, happy, and eager to learn. He will also make a great running buddy with his long, lean body and Shepherd legs.
