The issue I am having is that her and our female 7 year old chihuahua just can't seem to accept each other .... They both have alpha female qualities ---- I don't blame Lady, my chihuahua seems to think she can take her on if the need arises :) they are fine day to day but they did have a fight once and ever since, I am nervous. I can't bear the thought of anything ever happening to our chihuahua. I thought that maybe I found her a loving home with a male weim but she was very defensive and snappy with him. we have had Lady for 2 1/2 yrs. --- she was born 6/20/2011. She is spayed, crate trained, AKC & microchipped --she is up to date on all vaccines and is approx. 60lbs. she loves to run and chase squirrels, birds and anything that may be out and about in your yard - she's not a digger and if you have a tennis ball, you will be her forever friend. She has never been around cats and will probably do better in a home with no other pets. Older children are ok. She gets and will need plenty of exercise.
